چکیده

Abstract In this paper, the numerical solution of a mixed derivative type Hunter–Saxton equation is addressed. A given discretized transforming it into system ODEs with use cubic trigonometric B-splines based differential quadrature method. The further solved using fifth-order optimized one-step hybrid block Three illustrations validate efficiency proposed scheme and show its better performance through very accurate results. Stability convergence analysis are also performed.

An efficient differential quadrature method for fractional advection-diffusion equation

Abstract Using a set of modified cubic trigonometric B-splines as test functions, a new differential quadrature technique is proposed for the 1D and 2D transient advection-diffusion equations of order α ∈ (0, 1]. The weighted coefficients are determined via solving the system of algebraic equations with a strictly diagonally dominant tri-diagonal matrix. Then, the original equation is converted...

An approximate method for solving fractional system differential equations

IIn this research work, we have shown that it is possible to use fuzzy transform method (FTM) for the estimate solution of fractional system differential equations (FSDEs). In numerical methods, in order to estimate a function on a particular interval, only a restricted number of points are employed. However, what makes the F-transform preferable to other methods is that it makes use of all poi...

An efficient numerical method for singularly perturbed second order ordinary differential equation

In this paper an exponentially fitted finite difference method is presented for solving singularly perturbed two-point boundary value problems with the boundary layer. A fitting factor is introduced and the model equation is discretized by a finite difference scheme on an uniform mesh. Thomas algorithm is used to solve the tri-diagonal system. The stability of the algorithm is investigated. It ...

An exponential spline for solving the fractional riccati differential equation

In this Article, proposes an approximation for the solution of the Riccati equation based on the use of exponential spline functions. Then the exponential spline equations are obtained and the differential equation of the fractional Riccati is discretized. The effect of performing this mathematical operation is obtained from an algebraic system of equations. To illustrate the benefits of the me...
